Information

About - Bamako de Muze is a once in a lifetime horse. He is a son of a legendary father, Darco, and an equally legendary mother, Fragance de Chalus. In the sport he proved himself up to five-star level under the saddle of Karline De Brabander. He is a stallion with excellent technique, strong and good temperament, now his oldest offspring have taken up the torch.

Sire - His father is the legendary Darco who proved to be a phenomenal jumper on the international jumping scene under Ludo Philippaerts. In 1988 he won the qualification for the World Cup in Olympia. In 1989, he was the undisputed winner at Hertogenbosch. Darco also finished sixth at WEG in Stockholm and seventh at the Olympic Games in Barcelona. Darco consistently, for five years in a row, took the first place in the WBFSH jumping stallions ranking, having the largest number of offspring competing at the Grand Prix level.

Damline - His dam is the phenomenal mare Fragance de Chalus, who was successful at the level of 140 cm. She is an extremely valuable breeding mare, the mother of such celebrities as Mylord Carthago, Norton d'Eole, Bamako de Muze, Arc en Ciel de Muze, Jolly Mome and the rising star L'Hermes de Muze. She is the daughter of the legendary stallion Jalisco B, who is one of the most influential ancestors of sport horses in the world!

Progeny - Many horses out his first crop are already jumping at 1.60m level, like Olympic medal winner Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, Sea Coast Monalisa van 't Paradijs, Elize, Missouri van 't Ruytershof and Bellissimo Z, Kasanova de la Pomme and Lector vd Bisschop. Also his younger offspring seem to be very promising. They are all praised for their scope and excellent competition mentality. Bamako already produced approved stallions at all major Belgian studbooks and various foreign studbooks, including the champion of the BWP stallion approvals in 2013, and his offspring are very popular at auctions.
